For the customer, this means being able to perform simplified tightening and assembly operations, increasing assembly speed.
Thanks to the adoption of this anti-loosening technology, it is possible to effectively solve these critical issues, without forgetting the possibility of downsizing.
The main applications concern high-tech and high-reliability sectors such as satellites, wind energy, semiconductors, and automotive.
The Motionite® technology, patented in 11 countries, works by ensuring uniform load distribution, reducing stresses on the thread, as demonstrated by elasto-plastic analyses, thereby highlighting the effectiveness of load sharing compared to standard products.
Furthermore, fatigue resistance is up to 1.2 times higher than that of standard products, ensuring a product that's both more durable and able to withstand higher stresses.
The new Motionite® technology therefore offers significant advantages: high resistance to loosening, no galling (seizing), and the possibility of reuse. These features make the production process particularly cost-effective and open the way to the use of smaller screws.
