F.lli Mauri is pleased to support a one-of-a-kind initiative in the summer of 2025: the first Inclusive Summer Lab dedicated to Technology and Sports, promoted by Professor Marco Covarrubias and the Virtual Prototyping and Augmented Reality Laboratory of the Politecnico di Milano – Lecco Campus.
This initiative aims to promote inclusion, develop autonomy, empathy, and resilience, by offering young people with disabilities engaging educational and sports experiences, both in real-world and virtual environments. It also seeks to spark interest in STEM subjects and accessible technology.
The Summer Lab will take place from July 7 to 11, 2025, and will involve 25 participants with disabilities aged 16 to 24, from local organizations and associations. Attendees will engage in a range of creative, sports, and musical activities, including 3D printing, cooking, virtual reality travel, adaptive wall climbing, and much more.
F.lli Mauri is proud to support this initiative, which combines technology, inclusion, and education, with the goal of building a more equitable and participatory society.
